Biography
51-year-old
Michael O Johnson is an avid endurance sport athlete who often participates in triathlons, often raising money for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.


Michael O Johnson began as a sales and marketing executive with the Warner Amex Satellite Entertainment Company, where he directed activities for MTV, Nickelodeon and The Movie Channel on the west coast. He then directed activities as a publisher of Audio Times magazine.


In Michael O Johnsons 17 years as a senior executive with the Walt Disney Company, highlights include leading Buena Vista Home Entertainment. He shifted the video rental business to a revenue sharing model, successfully rolling out his vision globally.


Michael O Johnson’s current role
is with Herbalife.

Michael O. Johnson is chairman and chief executive officer of Herbalife. He oversees all aspects of the company’s global operations. He is the voice of the company to Distributors, sets the vision and strategy, and ensures that the company has the resources necessary to meet its goals.

Johnson joined Herbalife in April 2003. He is credited with strengthening product development by establishing Nutrition and Scientific Advisory Boards and funding the creation of the Mark Hughes Cellular and Molecular Nutrition Laboratory at UCLA.
